With over 25-years of experience, AVASL provides specialist valuation services to both large and small insolvency practitioners, accountants and distressed private businesses.
Whether the answer is liquidation, administration or a CVA, we offer a tailor made solution to maximise realisations whilst offering our clients professional and unbiased advice.
Our team has the experience and knowledge to provide detailed valuation reports and conduct the disposal of assets whether it is through market research, strategically advertising businesses for sale, by conducting sales by private treaty or auction or utilising our extensive network of national and European buyers.

Director
Karen Butler
Karen started working in Insolvency over 25 Years ago, working for other Insolvency Agents, and then along with Clive Williams in 2008 started Williams and Partners Ltd as a Director.
She is fully conversant with Insolvency procedures, retention of title and other third-party claims, debt management, and asset recovery and clearance.
Karen recently left Williams & Partners Ltd in 2022 to set up Asset Valuation and Sales Ltd with co-Director Leah Hills.
Despite an excellent team behind her, Karen always insists on being contactable on each job.
Outside of work Karen practices Yoga and enjoys kayaking.

Leah Hills
Leah started out as a derivatives broker and has a proven track record in Commercial Sales.
She started working with Karen Butler as an Insolvency Agent in 2012 and soon became an invaluable member of the team, capable of maximising realisations for the creditors of ailing businesses.
She offers professional and unbiased advice to her clients and manages each case with excellent customer service.
Starting up Asset Valuation and Sales Limited, she takes on the role as Director, where Leah has the tools and mindset to tackle the ever-increasing workload head on.
Away from work Leah enjoys riding her horse and has taken part in the London Moonwalk three times, raising money and awareness for Breast Cancer.
